Some learning experiences are especially complex, requiring a longer term view and the ability to develop a repertoire of styles and behaviours.
 
Becoming a manager of people, or moving up the ladder, in any profession, is one of these experiences. In the recruitment industry, with its pressurised targets, critical deadlines and relatively young staff profile, the challenge is even more visible and immediate.
 
Amelius consulting has worked with dozens of newly appointed managers, team leaders and business directors to provide confidential, knowledgeable coaching support. Working over (typically) three to six months, we provide independent but expert advice to:
 
  • help identify strengths, weaknesses and priorities
  • review business strategy and appropriate tactics
  • support key individuals through unforeseen challenges
  • enhance awareness of individual style and develop a range of management and influencing tools
  • prepare leaders for key events, including strategic meetings, performance reviews and dealing with the media.

Every coaching programme is tailored to the unique needs of the individual and the sponsoring organisation. 

We agree these goals at the outset. But because priorities can change, the programme is flexible and led by the issues presented by the individual. This makes coaching the most practical and cost effective way to develop your future leaders.
